My prescription
Order your prescription
There are two ways to order — pick whichever suits you.
Order it myself — no app required
You don't need to download the NHS App. You can use the same NHS online services in any web browser, on your phone, tablet or computer: choose your medicines, send the request to your GP, and track it afterwards.

I'd like Lindsay Chemist to request it for me
Call 020 8546 2459, tell us exactly which repeat medicines you need, and we'll submit the request through to your GP on your behalf. Your GP still decides whether to approve it.
Not your usual prescription? If the medicine or quantity you need is different from usual, please tell us before we submit the request — your GP may need to deal with it directly.
Has my prescription reached us?
A lot of the calls we get are patients checking where their prescription is. Here's the usual journey:
- Requested from your GP
- GP authorises the prescription
- Electronic prescription sent
- Lindsay Chemist receives it
- We prepare your medicine
- Ready for collection
You can check where you are in this journey yourself, any time, in the NHS App — without needing to call us.

I've run out of my medicine
If it's not urgent, request a repeat prescription through the NHS App or contact your GP as normal. If you've completely run out and need something sooner, here's how to get an emergency supply.
How to get your NHS emergency supply
- Go to 111.nhs.uk/emergency-prescription, or call 111, to request an emergency supply.
- Answer a few brief questions about your medical history and the medicine you take.
- When asked to choose a pharmacy, select Lindsay Chemist, KT2 6PF.
- Once you've submitted your request, give us a call so we know to expect it — we'll help as soon as it reaches us.
Standard NHS prescription charges (or your usual exemption) apply to emergency supplies requested this way.
Can't use 111 online, or need it right now?
Come in and speak to our pharmacist directly. Bring whatever you have that shows what you take and your dose — we'll assess whether we can help there and then.
