What is Pharmacy First?

Pharmacy First is an NHS service. Our trained pharmacy team can give you clinical advice and, if suitable, supply prescription-only medicines for a range of common conditions.

Sinusitis (adults and children)12 years and over
Sore throat (adults and children)5 years and over
Earache (children)1 to 17 years
Infected insect bites (adults and children)1 year and over
Impetigo (adults and children)1 year and over
Shingles (adults)18 years and over
Uncomplicated UTI (women)16–64 years

You must meet the age range for the condition above. There are other clinical criteria too β€” our team will check this with you in the pharmacy.
